Wake up the Earth 2024 - Festival & Parades
The 46th Annual Wake Up the Earth Festival is Saturday May 4th, 2024 from 12-6
there will be a Centre Street Parade at 11am from Curtis Hall down Centre to Lamartine street (gather at 10:30am) and An Egleston Square Parade launching at 11:30 from the corner of Atherton Street and Washington Streets, going down Atherton to Lamartine and connecting with the Centre Street Parade.
Wake Up the Earth Parade Workshops
Come make puppets at the library to carry in the Wake Up the Earth Parade!

Come by Spontaneous Celebration and help us paint, glue, tape, and build art and
things for the festivities!

Come and learn new games and play old games! Share laughs and get to know community members.

We have lots of fun games and bring your own!
Pizzas will be ordered (we will ask for folks to pitch in if you can)

TROPICAL FIESTA- Save the date-tickets available!
Come to our Annual TROPICAL FIESTA with food, tropical music, activities.
The building will be transformed to a Tropical Paradise with help of volunteers!
Come to Spontaneous every Friday until Feb. 24th, to help us make the building look amazing!!
Friday Night Potluck and Tropical Art making
Join us with a dish to share. Make some decorations to transform our space to a Tropical Paradise for Tropical Fiesta (which is on Feb. 24)
Winter Solstice Feast-POSTPONED to NEW DATE
Join us in the longest night from sundown till midnight. Semi-potluck feast, Middleeastern is the theme this year in a prayer for Peace.
JP Holiday Market
Join Spontaneous Celebrations on Friday nights, Dec 8th + 15th from 6pm to 9pm, for some seasonal celebrations with warm drinks and dozens of local artists, small businesses and non-profits offering their goods and services to Jamaica Plain for the holidays.

Friendsgiving Potluck
Join us on the day after Thanksgiving for a Friendsgiving Potluck and clothing donation/swap
Bring a dish to share, something that you love for this time of year.
Also bring some clothes to swap or donate.
